📌 Job Summary
The Payroll Manager will oversee and review payroll calculations, ensuring that all payroll processes function with accuracy, integrity, and timeliness. You’ll work independently and bring advanced payroll expertise, while also guiding junior team members.
🧰 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Core Payroll Duties
- Verify calculations of gross and net pay, including bonuses, overtime, deductions, commissions, and tax withholdings.
- Review attendance records, HRIS inputs, and payroll data for error-free processing.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of employee payments and deductions.
🔹 Compliance and Audits
- Ensure payroll operations align with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies or escalations.
- Conduct periodic audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
🔹 Leadership & Special Tasks
- Mentor and review work of junior payroll professionals.
- Manage irregular payments such as one-time bonuses and executive compensation.
- Distribute and process W2 and W2C forms as necessary.
🎓 Educational & Experience Requirements
- Preferred: University Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Required: Minimum 5 years of payroll experience (7+ years preferred).
