🔧 Key Responsibilities

As an EOT, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping AWS infrastructure running 24/7:

Perform daily building rounds and monitor critical systems (electrical, HVAC, fire/life safety)
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS)
Install and decommission server racks within SLAs
Conduct preventative maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairs
Support change management through technical writing
Supervise onsite vendors and contractors
Work across multiple data center sites as needed

🧰 Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Trade school, military tech training, or 1+ years in electrical/mechanical/HVAC systems
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Physically capable of lifting 40+ lbs, climbing ladders, and performing technical tasks in active facilities

This is a mission-critical operations role supporting Amazon Web Services’ global cloud infrastructure. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge systems:

Diesel generators & fuel systems
UPS units, PDUs, wet cell batteries
CRAHU units, chillers, cooling towers
Water systems, air handlers, fire systems
Building automation and safety systems

🧑‍🔧 Preferred Experience

2+ years in a data center environment
Background in mechanical or electrical engineering
