🧭 Internship Overview
Position: SIB Summer 2025 Analyst
Location: New York, NY
Pay: $48.08/hour
Type: Seasonal Internship (In-Person Only)
Start Date: June 9, 2025
Duration: 10–12 weeks (Summer)
Work Authorization: Must NOT require sponsorship (F1, OPT, CPT not eligible)
💼 What You’ll Do
As a Summer Analyst, you’ll support senior bankers in structuring and executing ESG-driven investment transactions across global markets. You’ll be at the front lines of climate finance innovation, combining your knowledge of environmental science and financial strategy.
🔑 Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Creating ESG market updates and client pipelines
- Developing climate scenario models and ESG materiality assessments
- Supporting green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and KPI-linked deals
- Benchmarking clients against SBTi, TPI, and other frameworks
- Elevating CACIB’s sustainable finance capabilities through tailored client content
🎓 Who Should Apply?
You’re a college junior graduating between Dec 2025–Spring 2026 with:
- A major in environmental science, sustainability, or environmental engineering
- A strong minor or dual major in finance, economics, or business (preferred)
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher from a top-tier institution
- Real passion for ESG and climate innovation, shown through coursework or extracurriculars
❌ Applicants with only finance/economics backgrounds and no sustainability experience will not be considered.
🧠 Ideal Candidate Profile

- Strong communicator with impeccable attention to detail
- Quick learner, critical thinker, and team collaborator
- Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal (a plus)
- Excels in “start-up-like” fast-paced settings
- Ready to be on-site 5 days/week in NYC—no remote/hybrid options
