📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage biweekly payroll operations accurately and on schedule
- Review and process time sheets and payroll adjustments (e.g., W-4s, garnishments, benefits)
- Compile and prepare payroll reports; assist departments with payroll queries
- Partner with supervisors to resolve incomplete timecards
- Respond to employee inquiries related to paychecks, deductions, and taxes
- Prepare final checks for departing employees
- Document and update internal payroll processes
- Assist with payroll audits and ad hoc reporting
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager for payroll accuracy and compliance
💡 Qualifications & Skills
✅ Required:
- 3–5 years of payroll processing experience
- Deep understanding of payroll tax law, reporting, and multi-state processing
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and payroll software
- Experience managing direct deposits, garnishments, deductions, and terminations
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
🌟 Preferred:
- Experience with Ultimate Software
- ADP system knowledge is a plus
